LIFE AND DEATH
Since the beginnings of recorded history, we have celebrated birth and mourned death. This indicates the importance we place on earthly life. We have created for ourselves an impression of existence that begins with entry onto this planet and ends with our exit from it. Just as early man believed that the earth was the center of the universe around which everything revolved, so it seems that many today perceive life on earth as the focus and center of our existence.
For nearly everyone it is important to think that his or her life has a purpose. But these purposes may be various: the purpose of one person's life may be to achieve one kind of goal, that of another person may be to achieve a very different kind of goal. There need be no one thing that forms the purpose of every life.
and it is proven too, that life needs fulfillment and satisfactions.
Death is the cessation of the connection between our mind and our body. Most people believe that death takes place when the heart stops beating; but this does not mean that the person has died, because his subtle mind may still remain in his body. Death occurs when the subtle consciousness finally leaves the body to go to the next life. Our body is like a guesthouse and our mind like the guest; when we die our mind has to leave this body and enter the body of our next rebirth, like a guest leaving one guesthouse and traveling to another.one thing we can say is that,
death has never been closer..
